Poetry- Rain: The Natural Lullaby

The rain has fallen
throughout the overnight hours,
The natural lullaby,
helping us stay in sleep.
As dawn breaks,
the rain continues to fall,
signaling the end to our heat wave.

The natural lullaby of the rain,
and its organic aroma,
makes me feel closer to nature.

Trees and plants are welcoming the rain,
stretching out its leaves,
soaking it all in,
transforming into life.

The natural lullaby of the rain,
keeps me lyrically sound.
Inspiring my inner artist,
to blossom and bloom.

The natural lullaby,
that soothed me to sleep,
soothes me awake,
and keeps me lyrically sound,
throughout my day.
